Thanks to an investment by the Atlanta Braves Foundation, major upgrades are coming to baseball and softball field at Atlanta Public Schools. 

The “Hank Aaron Diamonds” initiative will provide artificial turf infields and upgrades at all APS high schools. The program is expected to break ground later this month on the first four baseball fields at Washington High School, Jackson High School, Mays High School and North Atlanta High School with completion expected by the start of the 2026 high school baseball season.

This initiative, in collaboration with the Atlanta Braves Foundation and Hank Aaron’s wife Billye, aims to honor the legacy of Braves legend Hank Aaron while providing enhanced facilities for students. The upgrades will include new artificial turf infields and are designed to increase accessibility and reduce maintenance costs.

The North Atlanta Sports Booster Club (SBC) is a parent-run non-profit 501c3 organization that supports the athletics program at North Atlanta High School (NAHS). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Through generous donations of our parents and community partners. SBC helps to fund athletic equipment, facilities, team grants and other resources not provided by APS. SBC works closely with our Athletic Director to promote, enhance & advocate for NAHS athletic programs and our 850+ athletes who compete across 21 GHSA sports and 55 teams. Every donation adds to the athletic experience and environment for NAHS student-athletes to thrive. Any donation big or small is meaningful to our athletes & coaches!

All Senior athletes have the option to commemorate their final year with a personalized banner, like the sample below, to be hung in the gym or at their field of play.  Orders are available during Fall, Winter and Spring seasons for active sports teams.  Orders can only be honored during the season and after team pictures have been taken by Art of Life.  Orders are handled by your team parent. 

Josh Shrewsbury, our Letterman Jacket Representative, will be at NAHS on Friday, October 3rd to assist your athlete in ordering letterman jackets.

If your athlete already owns a jacket, they can purchase additional patches at school on Oct 3rd.

*8-10 weeks for delivery. Any jacket purchased on Oct 3rd will be guaranteed to arrive before the holiday break.

*Payment must accompany form (will be filled out by rep on-site). No jacket will be ordered without payment.
