    Two Ways to Help Our Athletes

    1) JOIN BOOSTER CLUB HERE!

    Sports Booster Club uses funds to benefit the entire NAHS Athletics program.  Here are a few of the more recent initiatives funded by Boosters: 

    • Provide funding for the new NAHS Broadcasting Club
    • Installed new logo on NAHS Gym floor
    • Provided Student Spirit buses to 2019 State Playoff gam
    • Professional Development for Athletic Director & Coaches
    • Purchased oversize Team Banners in grand hall outside of gym
    • Monthly Coaches breakfasts
    • First time ever providing year end bonuses to Varsity Coaches

     

    2) FUND-A-NEED CAMPAIGN

    Where you can Donate Directly to your child's team

    Want to donate monies to your child's team directly?  Nearly every NAHS Athletic Team has items they'd like to purchase that are not provided by APS such as:

    • extra helmets
    • balls
    • walkie talkies
    • tournament fees
    • wrestling mats
    • Outright monetary donations

    TRANSFER STUDENT ATHLETES:

    Transfer Students Playing Sports
    If you are transferring to NAHS at any time other than a traditional 9th-grade student, you must complete eligibility paperwork.  Please email Liz Archer at lizpequeno@yahoo.com to start the process.  Also, please contact your team’s head coach or Team Coordinator for Transfer Tryouts if applicable. Coach contact info is listed at www.nahs warriors.org/boosters. Please visit www.nahs warriors.org for all things Athletics! 

    VOLLEYBALL TRANSFER STUDENTS: 

    Tryouts Monday, August 2 

    4:00 - 5:00 NAHS Gym

    Please bring a water bottle, dressed for volleyball play. Please see below for additional requirements:

    ~Applicant must be fully registered at NAHS
    ~Applicant must be registered in PRIVIT and cleared prior to August 2nd- no exceptions
    ~Please send an email requesting the password to register in PRIVIT to Liz Archer  at lizpequeno@yahoo.com

    Cheer Tryouts

    NAHS Cheer is asking for perspective team members to submit a video for consideration for the following teams:

    • Varsity Sideline Cheer (1 spot available)
    • Varsity Basketball Cheer (2 spots available
    • JV Sideline & Basketball (4 spots available)
    • Varsity Competition Cheer (1 flyer spot available)

    *If you have previously tried out for cheer, you cannot participate in the transfer tryout. This tryout is for (new to NAHS) transfer students only*

     Application Release Dates

    • Cheer Applications will be released on July 29th via our NAHS Cheer Instagram Account at northatlantahs.cheer
    • Cheer Tryout Information will be released on August 6th.
    • Videos are due back on August 13th.

    Please see below for additional requirements:

    • Applicant must be fully registered at NASHS.
    • Applicant must be registered in PRIVIT and cleared by the Cheer Coordinator prior to submitting video- there are no exceptions to this rule.

    Join Water Polo
    Want to swim faster? Have fun with friends?  Try a great new sport?  Try water polo!  400+ boys and girls play water polo across Atlanta, and you can join us.  We’ve had players go on and play at colleges, participate in Junior Olympics, and participate in the Olympic Development Program.  All here in Atlanta!  

    Our club, the APS Knights, are open to all boys and girls entering 6th-12th grade who live inside I-285 and don't attend Pace or Lovett (they have their own teams).  No water polo experience required, but you must be a strong swimmer (summer league swim team or similar).

    Our Fall 2021 season starts in mid-August and goes to early October.  We practice Monday & Wednesday evenings @ Dynamo Chamblee and play almost all our games on weekends.     We are arranging some open houses this summer so stay tuned!  We will update everyone through Mailchimp and Instagram, so you can meet some players, coaches, and parents, and have some fun!! 

    Cross Country Tryouts 

    Cross Country tryouts will be held August 4 at 8AM and August 6 at 6AM at the North Atlanta track. Please see the linked flyer for tryout information and required forms.

    Get your Privit forms submitted asap! You cannot try out without them. A current physical signed by a doctor is required. If you are a returning athlete, you can add yourself to the 2021/2022 team by going back into your account and clicking the drop-down in "Teams."     Congratulations to the new Region 4 AAAAAA Tennis Champions!  Both the NAHS Girls and Boys Tennis Teams clinched the win!
