JV Warriors Lose a Close Game at Grady

On Wednesday, the JV Lady Warriors traveled to cross town rival Grady losing a close game 34-41. Leading all scores were Sophomore Franki Kimche-Gilstrap with 12, Freshman Morgan Butler with 9, and Freshman Lanier Beckham with 9. Leading rebounders were Sophomore Franki Kimche-Gilstrap with 9, Freshman Lanier Beckham with 7 and Freshman Caroline Clippinger with 7. Lanier and Caroline led in steals with 3 each. Next the girls travel to Alpharetta on 1/28.  Their record stands at 8-1.

JV Girls Beat Douglass on the Road-Remain Undefeated!

On Saturday the JV Lady Warriors traveled across town to face a strong Douglass team.  The game went down to the wire with NA winning the close contest 37-34.  Leading all scores were Freshman Lanier Beckham with 13 points, 6 steals and 4 assists; Freshman Morgan Butler with 7 points, 4 rebounds and a steal; and Sophomore Arlicia Saavedra with 7 points, 2 rebounds, an assist and a steal to round out the game. Next the girls travel to Grady on Wednesday 1/15/20-5:30 pm tip off.  Come out to cheer them on as they fight to maintain their perfect record.

Coach “T” and the JV Girls Remain Undefeated-Beat Carver Away!

Coach “T” and the girls travelled to Carver Wednesday night and remain undefeated as they head into the winter break beating the Panthers 43-22. Leading all scores were Sophomore Franki Kimche-Gilstrap with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals, Freshman Caroline Clippinger with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists and Freshman Lanier Beckham with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals. The girls got on the scoreboard first with Freshman Sarah Anne Hamilton’s inside two and finished the night with a two from Sophomore Rahyn Potter. Doing the tough but important work on the boards was Junior Brooke Graham who led the team in rebounding with 5.

Next home game for the JV Warriors is January 8th against a tough Douglass opponent, tip-off at 5:30 pm.  Come cheer them on as they attempt to maintain their perfect record.  Go Warriors!
